I call this Joy position

Open your arms and tilt your head as it you were looking at the sky. Imagine a cloudless blue and sunny day. Or a beautiful clear starry night. Whichever makes you feel good. Breathe the air. Feel the ground.

Put a big smile on your face- even if you don't feel like it. Make the shape of a smile, a really big smile. You release happy chemicals - serotonin and endorphins - just by making the shape of a smile.

Now try to worry. Really try to worry. And just see what happens. Or try to feel depressed. Keeping that smile on your face. What do you notice? This is a great pattern interrupt or a way to stop your negative inner voice. You now have a choice!
